Braque is an exploration in symmetry - two cubes, one sculptural stereo system.

Designed as both object and instrument, Braque reflects our belief that form and sound can coexist in perfect balance. With coaxial drivers from Celestion and a fully active Hypex-powered architecture, it delivers focused, natural sound at perfect listening height & anchored by a 25 kg solid steel base.

Each unit is assembled and mounted in Estonia, with the steel cube handcrafted in Sweden and final tuning performed at the Nocs Lab. Built in numbered editions and limited runs, Braque is the result of a European collaboration focused on precision, restraint, and sound.

Braque connects easily via analog RCA or optical, ready for turntables, streamers, and all line-level sources.

materials & design

The speaker cube is constructed from CNC-machined plywood, chosen for its rigidity, tonal warmth, and acoustic integrity. It’s finished in a deep matte black oil, applied in two precise layers to ensure both durability and visual depth.

The paired steel cube, weighing 25 kg, is hand-welded and brushed in Sweden, serving as a sculptural counterweight that anchors the system both physically and visually. Together, the two volumes form a study in symmetry - a minimal yet expressive composition.

To eliminate unwanted resonance and vibration, Braque incorporates Sorbothane isolation pads between the speaker cube and steel base. This ensures a focused, stable soundstage even at high volumes.

For driver technology, we partnered with Celestion, a UK-based manufacturer with over 100 years of heritage in coaxial speaker design. Their FTX0820 driver delivers exceptional clarity, coherence, and point-source accuracy — ideal for Braque’s stereo layout.

nocs studio sound

At Nocs Lab, we believe a speaker shouldn’t shape the music - it should reveal it.

With Braque, we approached tuning like sculpture: not adding, but uncovering. By listening closely to the artist’s intent, we shape the sound through subtraction, balance, and form — ensuring the message comes through intact.

The Braque system is powered by Celestion coaxial drivers, delivering a point-source image with exceptional coherence and depth. Tuning is done in-house, in collaboration with our artist and engineer network, focusing on emotion, texture, and detail.

The dual-cube design plays an acoustic role too - elevating the drivers to ideal listening height, while vibration isolation and premium materials ensure the experience is clean, stable, and immersive.

This is Nocs Studio Sound - shaped by the artist, revealed through structure.

DESIGNED & ENGINEERED IN SWEDEN

All Nocs products are developed at in Sweden - where we handle everything from design and mechanical engineering to tuning and sound testing.

With Braque, we wanted full control over every part of the process. That’s why we’ve moved manufacturing back to Europe. The steel cube is made by hand in Sweden, and the speaker unit is assembled at a long-running factory in Estonia.

Keeping production closer allows us to work more directly with our partners, improve quality, and make better long-term decisions.

We’re proud to say Braque is made here, in Europe - with care and intention behind every detail.

Product Specs.

A sculptural stereo system, tuned for true listening.

Braque uses a coaxial two-way design in a perfectly symmetrical cabinet pair, combining art and engineering to deliver a refined and highly focused sound experience.

Designed for analog purity, it’s ideal for turntables, streamers, and any line-level source - brought to life through precision tuning and Hypex amplification.

Braque is built in numbered editions, with a 25 kg steel cube base.
